Hello. My wife and I bought our house about 6 months ago. It was a foreclosure and we were able to get a great deal on it. We also took advantage of the 8K tax credit so that definitely helped. We did an extensive remodeling job and now I want to refinance to cut the term to a 20 or 15 year loan. Does anyone know any good sites for mortgage information? Thanks!

You have stated a few misconceptions. The Pfizer drug tries to directly reduce ldl production in the liver with statins ,a drug family which has many serious side effects including lowered libido and risk of cancer. The RVX approach is to increase the amount of hdl produced by the body which is released in the plasma which then carries the ldl to its destruction.

You were spot on in this article. I fortunately didn’t buy at the high’s but even if I did I don’t think I would fret too much. This company looks rather promising right now and if they are able to partner, which they have publically stated they wouldn’t do until after PhII data, this stock could be a real mover.

They are entering into late stage some promising compounds and have shown to have additional “targeted therapy” opportunities in Breast Cancer and Lung Cancer (K-Ras mutations) for the future.

Interesting you wrote that CYCC was “pounded”. A capital raise was necessary, the company only has 31 million shares outstanding, and is now entering into a SPA with the FDA for an imminent PhIII trial of their lead compound in AML/MDS (and thus far they have had some promising data at 1 year;see ASH 2009). Your headline maybe should’ve been, CYCC;A Buying Opportunity. However, in looking back at your posts, it appears your negative slant towards the company has been around for quite sometime as you have cited their miniscule market cap as reason to not invest as opposed to any rational discussion as to why they may be a buy or sell.

In addition, CYCC has long held the principal that they won’t partner until after PhII, a sweet spot since they have more bargaining power. This makes sense for a small cap company and I look forward to an exciting 2010/2011 for this company.
